
Fredag d. 15. maj blev den første stålplade skåret til den første af 3 Hansa Superstar RoPax færger, som Finnlines får bygget hos det kinesiske værft CMI Weihai Shipyard. Den forventes klar til indsættelse i sommeren 2028.

De 3 Hansa Superstar skal indsættes på ruten Helsingfors – Travemünde, hvor de skal afløse de 3 nuværende færger FINNLADY, FINNMAID og FINNSTAR. De 3 færger bliver udstyret med dual-fuel motorer, der kan sejle på metanol.
