Brittany Ferries, Incat og Wärtsilä har underskrevet en partnerskabsaftale omkring at udforske designmuligheder og tekniske løsninger til en nulemission færge. Det er planen at færgen skal være 137 meter lang.

At this stage we don’t know what is feasible, and upon which route, but what we can say is that trusted partners will help us scope it out. Upon completion of the project we can move quickly. Wärtsilä er leverandør til de fem E-Flexer færger som Brittany Ferries har chartret af Stena RoRo, hvor den første blev leveret i 2020, mens den sidste leveres i 2025. Dermed har de to allerede et tæt samarbejde.
