Drawing from sources in multiple languages, this book explores the development of the Scandinavia-UK ferry services from the first passenger-cargo steamers of the early 19th century to the groundbreaking cruise ferries of the second half of the 20th century, and the final closure of the services during the first decades of the new millennia.
