Fredag d. 19. juli, var det søsætning af australske TT-Line’s nye færge SPIRIT OF TASMANIA V på det finske værft Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC). I forbindelse med søsætningen var der også dåb af færgen.
“The Spirit of Tasmania vessels are specifically designed for this route and its demanding sea conditions. Our shipyard is known for our ability and expertise to customize ships to meet the high standards and quality requirements of our clients. I am extremely proud of the progress in the construction of these vessels. The project we are delivering for TT-Line Company is also nationally significant, as it is one of the largest individual export deals between Australia and Finland.”

SPIRIT OF TASMANIA V er den anden af to søsterfærger, som TT-Line får bygget på det finske værft. Søsteren SPIRIT OF TASMANIA IV forventes leveret til TT-Line i august måned, mens SPIRIT OF TASMANIA V forventes leveret i foråret 2025.
