Forlaget Ferry Publications har i anledning af at det i år, er 60 år siden at Sten A. Olsson startede rederiet Skagenlinjen Rederi, som senere blev til Stena Line, udgivet en bog om rederiet. Rederiets første rute var mellem Göteborg og Skagen, hvor de havde chartret færgen ØSTERSØEN af D/S på Bornholm af 1866.

Stena Line was founded in 1962 by Sten A. Olsson and today this Swedish shipping company is one of the largest ferry operators in the world, operating services to Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. In addition to their successful ferry operations the company have a built a series of passenger and freight vessels over the last sixty years, including the ‘E Flexer’ ferries which first entered service in 2020.Stena Line employ around 4,500 people and currently operate 37 ferries, 17 ferry routes and carrying some 2.2m passengers per year. This book focuses on the ferry division of company since the Skagen I entered service in mid-sixties to ‘E Flexer’ vessels on the Irish Sea and the various ships in the series which now operate for other leading ferry operators in Europe. The book is richly illustrated with over 230 photos from the collections of the authors and European correspondents from Ferry & Cruise Review.
