Mandag d. 6. juni, fik Finnlines leveret RoRo færgen FINNECO III, som er bygget på det kinesiske værft China Merchants Jinling Shipyard. FINNECO III er den sidste af tre søsterfærger, som Finnlines har bestilt på det kinesiske værft. Det er kun en uge siden, at Finnlines fik leveret søsteren FINNECO II fra det kinesiske værft.
“This is a significant milestone in our EUR 500 million Newbuilding Programme, and we are delighted to welcome the Finneco trio to the Finnlines fleet. Through our ambitious investment, we can bring to our customers, not only the economies of scale and increased frequency, but a green and well scheduled infrastructure in the Baltic Sea, the North Sea and the Bay of Biscay. Finneco trio will give added value to Finnlines and its customers when they start to operate on their routes.”
