Torsdag d. 12. september, blev færgen SPIRIT OF TASMANIA IV leveret til australske TT-Line (Spirit of Tasmania). Den af den første af to søsterfærger, som rederiet får bygget på det finske værft Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC).

I would also like to thank our partners and the classification society. This vessel is a fine example of the strong shipbuilding expertise in Rauma. We have now built the world’s southernmost LNG ropax ferry as well as the world’s northernmost LNG ropax ferry, namely Aurora Botnia. We wish Spirit of Tasmania IV all the best on its journeys’, says Mika Nieminen, CEO and President of Rauma Marine Constructions.
SPIRIT OF TASMANIA IV skal indsættes på ruten Geelong – Devonport, hvor den sammen med den efterfølgende søster SPIRIT OF TASMANIA V (levering foråret 2025), skal afløse de to færger SPIRIT OF TASMANIA I og SPIRIT OF TASMANIA II, som begge er fra 1998.
